Sinbiose

The Synthesis Center for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (SinBiose) is a CNPq initiative inspired by internationally established synthesis centers.

Sinbiose seeks to support projects with an emphasis on current challenges in relation to biodiversity and ecosystem services, and that bring socially relevant results and for decision-making.

It is the first synthesis center in the Global South and since 2020 it has been part of the Synthesis Center Consortium, an international initiative that integrates the world's major biodiversity synthesis centers.
